By downloading, installing, or using Train Mate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Train Mate provides UK rail information including real-time departure data, journey planning, disruption alerts, and commute notifications. The App relies on third-party data sources including National Rail and is provided on an "as is" basis.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Access the App's API in any unauthorised manner
• Resell or redistribute any data obtained through the App

5. Premium Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription ("Train Mate Premium"). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.

6. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and timely rail information, Train Mate does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data displayed in the App. Train times, platform information, and disruption data are sourced from third parties and may be subject to errors or delays. Always check official sources before making travel decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Train Mate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to missed trains, lost connections, or any other travel disruptions arising from use of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Train Mate and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
